NUML – Voice, Presence & Digital Media

Voice, Presence & Digital Media Content Dynamics !

I had the privilege of conducting a training session for the English Department students organized by the Soft Skills Society on a topic I genuinely believe in:

🎙️ Voice, Presence & Digital Media Content Dynamics !
I tried to engage them that “Your Literature and Language background is not a limitation, it is your biggest advantage in the digital media world.” Most students just don’t know it yet.

Literature. Language. Communication. These are not old-world skills.
They are the foundation of everything content-driven in the digital economy.

Here’s what we tried to explore:
Visual Communication is the new literacy, and English graduates can master it faster than they think.
Presence isn’t personality. It’s a practiced skill. Anyone can build it.

We talked candidly about career paths, podcasting, video content, media production, storytelling. Students left with new opportunities to grow! and what struck me most was how ready these students are. They just needed someone to connect the dots between what they’ve studied and where the world is going.

Grateful to Ms. Hamim for flawless session coordination, and a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Arshad Ali, Chairperson, Department of English, NUML Rawalpindi, a great academic leader of his students’ future.

Keep going. The world needs your voice.
